Ballard Europe has become the Center of Excellence for Marine products and applications

We are happy to announce, that we our member Ballard Europe has become the Center of Excellence for Marine products and applications.

This is very exciting news, as Ballard Europe will assume full responsibility for development of a new Marine Module (targeting 200 kW output), and Ballard will set up facilities for manufacturing in Hobro. The first systems “Made in Europe” will be available in early 2020.

This is a key milestone to ensure Ballard growth in Europe, as Ballard can soon supply products made in Europe to European customers.

This is all based on the support from government funded projects, such as FCHJU and national EUDP programs, which are successfully paving the way for deployment of zero emission heavy duty motive solutions.
