Ericsson trådte i maritim karakter under Danish Maritime Days

Med Ericsson Danmark som sponsor af åbningsreceptionen af Danish Maritime Days den 6. oktober 2015 på børsen fik det maritime Danmark syn for, hvordan Ericsson ser sig som udvikler af søfarten.

Det var adm. direktør Jenny N. Braat, Danske Maritime, der fik æren af at åbne dette års Danish Maritime Days. Det skete på den store, fælles åbningsreception tirsdag aften den 6. oktober 2015 på børsen.
Blandt tilhørerne var overborgmester for Københavns Kommune Frank Jensen. Han havde indvilget i at være nummer tre på dagens talerrække.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Efter Jenny N. Braats åbningstale blev ordet givet til John Taxgaard, vice president for Global Maritime Service hos Ericsson Danmark. Han fortalte om Ericssons visioner for en fremtidig sammenhængende kommunikation i søfarten og den maritime verden. En fremtid, som Ericsson arbejder på at blive en del af som udvikler og leverandør af kommunikation – til lands, til vands og i luften.
Så fik overborgmester Frank Jensen ordet. Han kunne i sit indlæg trække tråde til København og Danmark som centrum for den internationale maritime verden, både før i tiden og fremover

Ericsson addressing the global Maritime sector

One of the leading influential global maritime industry events – the Danish Maritime Days were officially kicked-off at the historic Old Stock Exchange on the 6th of October. Some 600 key stakeholders from all parts of the global maritime industry participated. The reception was launched with a welcoming ceremony and opening speech from John Taxgaard, Head of Shipping/ Maritime.

John’s welcoming speech addressed the global maritime sector, with its current transition stage and thereby the met challenges for its stakeholders, however expressing the importance of events like these bringing everyone together, sharing their insights and ideas as a highly valuable platform for the future of the industry. Main focus was expressed on the ICT technologies, common standardization, efficiency and cyber security as the key drivers for overcoming the challenges. Here Ericsson’s offered ICT Cloud vision was also introduced by a comprehensive video, focusing on the partnerships and full integration of multiple technologies and services. Ericsson’s heritage and knowledge base from other industries, has helped to recognize a more integrated approach avoiding industry silos, but instead focusing on reaching everyone’s full potential by the vision of our Networked Society.
