Powercon is a Danish engineering company with approx. 40 employees who solve various engineering tasks along with the company produces and sells its own products. Located in Denmark and being a part of the successful Danish wind power industry, has created a good basis for competitive products, which means very robust, energy efficient and cost-optimized.

The company’s core competencies are within electrical energy conversion for energy production and energy consumption, with business areas primarily divided into two segments:

• Onshore Power supply solutions for electrification of ships in port
• Development of electrical solutions for wind turbines and wind turbine production

The demand for innovative electrical solutions for the maritime industry has given PowerCon a good growth in exports to Norway, where in a few years the company has delivered systems to different ports and many different types of vessels.
