Svendborg Maritime School educates young people and adults for life and careers at sea. Since 1906, the school has been part of Svendborg’s maritime community, combining proud seafaring traditions with modern teaching, practical training, and a strong focus on safety, responsibility, and community.

As a maritime educational institution, the school offers basic maritime training and HF-Søfart, which combines upper secondary education with maritime subjects. Students develop professional skills, hands-on experience, and personal growth, preparing them for further education and careers in the Danish and international maritime sector.
