Once again, the Danish Shipowners’ Association, Danske Maritime and CO-Industry are ready to open the doors to our long-standing joint Christiansborg conference.

The focal point of this year’s conference will be growth in Blue Denmark and the challenges that arise when geopolitics suddenly take on far greater significance. As an international industry, we are affected by turbulence in global markets, while defence and the strengthening of the Royal Danish Navy have moved high up the agenda.

In Denmark, the Danish Parliament is currently reviewing the recommendations presented to the government last year by the Growth Team for Blue Denmark. Across decision-makers and the maritime industry, we will take a closer look at how we can strengthen our sector together. What role can Denmark play in the green transition, both nationally and globally? How can we create increased growth and employment in the maritime sector more broadly? How does geopolitics affect us, and how do we best prepare Denmark in the field of maritime defence?
