EMRI has been committed to excellence in ship control for manoeuvring of ships since its establishment in 1972. The main products of EMRI are steering control systems and autopilots that can be used for track control systems.

EMRI’s SEM200 Autopilot has been sold for almost 2 decades worldwide. The new SEM300 Autopilot with the best human machine interface so far, was released in 2012 and is designed on top of the experiences with previous autopilots with three performance levels: Economy, Medium, and Precise.

Steering control systems have for many years been one of EMRI’s core competencies. Steering gear remote control systems are designed to fit the owner’s requirements of the system’s safety and ease of operation. EMRI can supply high-quality rudder control boxes to several of the market’s leading steering gears.

EMRI also designs and manufactures Joystick Dynamic Positioning systems. Each system is carefully analysed, programmed and tested at the factory before delivery. Fuel saving algorithms are available as standard. Features like follow ROV and Anchoring Support are available as options.
