Parliament conference: On-shore power supply for ships – the way to a greener future

17. september 2021, 9:30 - 15:30

Ships in ports contribute to local air pollution and society expectations regarding air quality in general and in urban areas in particular are now affecting how ships are operated. In that respect electrical on-shore power supply for ships is essential for the green transition of ports and the number of plants are increasing around Europe.

At this conference we look into the possibilities, learn from the experience across Europe and join technical experts, decision makers in ports and politicians at both local, national and European level. Our common goal is to move forward in a positive way together and to make shore power available in more ports.

The conference is followed by a tour around the port of Copenhagen.
